Two types of letters
LIFE LTRS will guide you through the process of writing two different types of letters, Life Letters and Moment Letters, for your loved ones (Your Kids, Your Love, and Your Friends & Family) to receive when you pass away.
Life Letters
A Life Letter is a single, personal letter written to a specific loved one which they will receive upon your passing. A Life Letter is timeless, loving, encouraging, and comprehensive. A guiding light for your loved one to remember you through life. A final hug and heart-to-heart conversation. An everlasting “I love you”. This is the one letter you would want your loved ones to have if they were left with nothing else.
Moment Letters
Moment letters are different in that they will be opened later, as separate letters over the course of many years, at certain moments in time that you specify. As a result, they will be more specific and usually more brief, saying just want your loved ones need to hear from you in that moment. Picture a box of sealed envelopes, each labeled with the point in time in which it should be opened.

What LIFE LTRS is not:
A writing software
Your letters are yours. You write them using whatever tools work best for you. They live with you at all times. You have full ownership and control of them. These words are too important to rely on a website for drafting and saving them. We cover writing options in detail, but LIFE LTRS is not where your letters are written.
A delivery service
Your letters start and remain in your hands at all times, and you choose how they should be stewarded upon your passing. We talk about options in detail in our logistics section, but LIFE LTRS is not involved in storing or delivering your letters.
A legal service
We’re here to talk about matters of the heart. Property, possessions, money, custody, and anything else that can be governed by a court of law are out of scope.
